《Economic Daily News》AmCad & Stanford Sleep Center's research results published in "Sleep Medicine"
We are actively expanding our product applications and continuing collaborations with global medical institutions. Recently, a new clinical study with the Stanford Sleep Center in the US has been completed, with results published in "Sleep Medicine", a highly respected journal in the field. The study results are consistent with research conducted by AmCad BioMed and the National Taiwan University Hospital Health Management Center (NTUH Health Management) in 2022, demonstrating the product's value in evaluating obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) and enabling early detection and planning for treatment.
Compared to traditional physiological testing, this study uses ultrasound to scan the anatomical structure of the upper airway to observe the causes of obstructive sleep apnea. Consequently, it can better assist physicians in determining OSA risk while providing guidance for subsequent treatment methods.
